Hi. My name is Stephanie Elifritz and I am the proud owner of The Modern Man Hair Studio. I am located at Phenix Salon Suites in Ankeny, IA. I have been a stylist for over twenty years and a salon manager here in Ankeny for the last fifteen. I specialize in men and boys haircuts. I enjoy building a lasting relationship with clients, and strive to fully understand the look and image they're trying to obtain. I've had the luxury of receiving formal training from industry leaders with Sexy Hair, Paul Mitchell, American Crew, Gibs Grooming, Nioxin, and Actiiv to name a few. I have learned through years of experience to understand the right products to recommend for the clients styling needs and scalp concerns. During my career I've been able to learn and draw inspiration from many great stylists. I've never been afraid to seek out information to help perfect my craft. I'm excited for this new adventure. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and meeting new ones as well. Update: We are growing. I have added two more stylists. Kelsey and Jordan. Both come with many years of experience in men and boys hair.

Cancellation Policy

Please be courteous and cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. All cancellations within 24 hours of appointment time or no shows may incur a fee of 50 percent of the service price.
